The Road Less Travelled by M. Scott Peck

Recently I came across a very good personal development book called "The Road Less Travelled" by M. Scott Peck. It was first published in 1978 but didn't become a bestseller until 1983, and is extremely popular over the past 25 years. Go ahead and buy the book, read the first page and you will know the reason behind. It is a master piece indeed.

The very first paragraph:

"Life is difficult.

This is the great truth, one of the greatest truths. It is a great truth because once we truly see this truth, we transcend it. Once we truly know that life is difficult - once we truly understand and accept it - then life is no longer difficult. Because once it is accepted, the fact that life is difficult no longer matters."

So true.
